Ah, I was meant to be away for the Easter weekend, I pictured myself incommunicado with at least three days to devote to my knitting with no distractions or excuses. Well the fact that I am writing this now means I obviously haven't got that yet. I'll be travelling tomorrow, baking the cake for Sunday's lunch when I reach my destination and then making my bed up and probaly spending the evening working on some knitting.
Sunday morning I will crawl from my bed and be thrilled to know I will be cooking a fraction less of Sunday lunch. Now that the numbers have increased everybody doubts the origianl menu.
My sister dosent' think we should be doing stuff for the first time on Sunday and my mother doubts everyone else will like the Saffron Roast Lamb.
Well I am still going to have my Sticky Garlic Potatoes, because I don't eat roast lamb or any roast meat for that matter so I will not be deprived of my potatoes!
Since I'm only cooking potatoes I figure that now gives me a bit more time Sunday morning to knit, and bugger them all I'll knit all Sunday after lunch as well.
I've got the baby scarf packed, mainly because it lives in my hand bag so I can get it out and actually work on it when i have spare moments - it's been worked on too! I'll have to carry something small round all the time. I've also packed the alien and hope to make progress on it's third face.
I think that's all, look for some photos after the weekwnd is over - it'll be Monday before I blog again.

Welcome to the Darkside Inn!
The place for fine wine, food and company!
Oh alright, the place for mostly chocolate cakes, anything with alcohol and possibly fine company. It'll be very fine company if Matt Hardy checks in.
At this stage it is very much under construction. The first posts will be after this weekend and will be the end results of my expedition into a kitchen. I have my pith helmet and machete at the ready, I am willing to take on all comers.
Sunday Lunch has gone from 4 to 6 to 10. Granted it's 8 and two small children - but that Easter Nest cake is just going to stretch. No leftovers or seconds. Sob sob!
I suppose since this is my knitting blog I should talk about it here and now. I worked on the baby scarf again - yes again! I might be hopefull but I think it has made it to the halfway mark or very close to it.
Oh I should probably tell you how to find the Inn, you'll find to the right at the top of the sidebar under the Darkside Hostess with the Mostess you'll see the option of visiting the Inn. A few links so far but that's it, I'm hoping to add more and lots of photos.

Bound to be something to match the shoes......
I have been very remiss with my knitting today, I have done none. And I don't care. I might get some done tonight when I sit down to Crossing Jordan.
I am so not looking forward to work tomorrow it's meeting day, that's all I need umpteen dozen people yaffling at me all at once. Although having said that I know of at least three who won't be there so maybe there will be more?
We had a stall at the Franklin House Fair yesterday for my CWA branch, there seems to be the same five of us always running these things. I think we need a bigger branch I think there is at least ten of us. Not that you'd know it.
Ah it'll soon be time for Jordan I have to many things to organise, and dinally finish unpacking the shopping. I started. I also started a box of chocolates for Easter but I've stopped that now.

Another day, another row.
I've continued to work on the baby scarf today, I did another couple of rows. No, I'm not madly rushing to get it done.
I'm debating about an outfit to go with the new shoes, I'll have to start shopping around I see "Boho Chick" is still in, that could be just what I'm looking for - providing it comes in the right colours.
Nothing pastel, nothing pink, not "chocolate" or any other shade of brown for that matter.
I look at some of the stuff there selling in the stores and think who buys this stuff? Then I look at what people are wearing out and about and I know who, you wouldn't think there's be so many badly dressed people out there. Just because there selling it dosen't mean you should be wearing it.
Ah, at least I can always knit myself a cool cardy for winter. I kind of regret not keeping up with my sewing now, I could whip up a top and skirt and then eventually knit up a cardy to go with it.

I have been knitting.
I have I swear. I have a bus load of witnesses. I didn't knit this morning because I ran the risk of poking someone non stop - yes the bus was that full.
It's still been on the scarf in 8-ply. I'm hoping to do something more exciting once it's sone, ot equally captivating.
Maybe I might be brave and foray into a Bruce Lee knit - if you check out the Awesome SKull Chart link under Skull Selection (it's right at the top possibly before Pirate Lil?) the knitter has also designed a Bruce Lee chart and it is way cool looking.

Knitting!
Yes, I have actually done some today, I did none last night after all because I have been feeling a little off the last few days but I think that's done with now.
I knitted this morning working on the leftover scarf, and I worked on it again on the way home tonight on the bus.
Baywatch the Hawaii Reuninon turned out to have some of the guys in it after all, the case lied! Pamela Anderson was, well Pamela Anderson. She does have that unique style all of her own.
Tonight since i am feeling better I think we will have the Peanut Butter and Banana Sandwich - I am most looking forward to it.
Something else I am most looking forward to, Matt Hardy! Or more specifically Matt in his Hot Tub. Hmmmm, he should make a video In The Hot Tub with Matt an entire interveiw conducted from his Hot Tub.
I like it.

Another day, another something.
Well it's happened once again. I am knitting some one else's leftovers. I have taken up a scarf for a baby to toddler? I think it is in some 8ply. The prospect of moss stitch, as nice as it is, just pissed me off too much like so many other things at the moment. I know with Easter coming up it's all fluffy bunnies and chocolate - you'd think I'd be in my element, but no.
Back to weird kitchen gadgets that I love so much. This one is special for Easter - a set of Easter Cookie Cutters. There's a chick, a duck, a rabbit, a lamb and an egg. There all in pretty pastel colours - yuck!
But I love them all the same, now I just have to find the time and motivation to make some. I'm planning on cooking or attempting to cook Easter lunch this year. Saffron Roast Lamb with Sticky Garlic Potatoes followed by the Easter Egg Nest Cake, thankyou Nigella! Check Feast by Nigella Lawson for all of these.
Not only does the cake look great but Nigella's description of how many it'll serve makes me even more enthusiastic about it - it'll serve 8 to 10 but I'll make it if there is just 4 of us quite frankly.
I'm also planning to try and make Hot Cross Buns. I blame Nigella she made such cute little ones and raved how easy it was. Nigella is the Devil!
Proof that Nigella is the Devil I am going to be making the Fried Toasted Peanut Butter and Banana Sandwich tonight, while I watch some trashy tv. Yes, it's supremely trashy. Baywatch - Hawaii Reunion I bought it today it was only $9.95 and a certain amount of trash is good for the soul. Although on closer inspection after purchase, I do believe none of the boys of Baywatch were able to come back......Only good old David seemed to be available to work with all the girls in bikinis which include Pamela Anderson and Carmen Electra (has anybody checked out her new fitness DVD's? I might out of sheer curiosity and also because a little trashy exercise might be good for more than just my soul).
Ah well, maybe I can knit during all of this, maybe not I might injure myself while rolling on the floor laughing.

Today is Sunday.
Today I made Friday Night Tunisian Meatballs from Nigella Lawson's book Feast.
And they were very yummy!
I know Friday Night Meatballs on a Sunday, but you get that and you move on.
I was hoping to follow with Chocolate raspberry Pavlova from Forever Summer, but I didn't get the pav made which was probably good because I don't think anybody had any room left for dessert.
Guess who's going to have to force themselves togorge eat all those raspberries?
I'm goign to have to knit something I know, apart from Ken's Dulaan hat yesterday I haven't really been knitting anything of late. I've been thinking about it, I've also been thinking about Matt Hardy and Chocolate Raspberry Pavlova.
Thinking is not getting anything productive done, thinking will not get the Mongolians warm, so I should knit something. Anything, I need something new something different, something exciting!
Any suggestions?

I Knitted Something!
Well round of applause please!
I made Ken's Dulaan hat from Yarn Harlot's blog. Very simple and incredibly quick to knit up. Probably because it's three strands of yarn on 12mm needles and only a child's size. 11 rows to do the main part of the hat!
Do you know what this means? This is project..............7? I think it's 7 or is it 8? What was that purple and grey scarf I did? Oh hell this has been going to long. I can feel another donation to charity coming on, I have no green yarn with which to make the Knit Hand Grenade Purse.
I'm feeling slightly bag lady at the moment so I may continue with this theme (and donations) making The Last Straw Bag from Roxy Craft. It's knitted out of raffia, this could be interesting.
To hell with yarn diets and impovrished Mongolians - Matt Hardy dosen't look to be coming to Australia any time soon or if he is the WWE are keeping it under their hat. That's probably all their keeping under there.......But I digress to assuge my pain of not seeing Matt, the BAK Shoes think we should make a Hand Grenade Purse and something with Skulls in it...........

The Alien does not have three faces.
I've failed the challenge of making sure the ALien has three faces by tomorrow's SNB meet-up. However I have recommenced work on the second mitten from the second pair of mittens in the Bendigo Rustic in the shade Columbine. 2 and a half rows so far and counting.
Tiny steps, tiny steps. A mitten today, an Alien's face tomorrow.
And to answer Sharon's question: Ebay the seller is Wicked Shoes and Boots (wickedshoesandboots). They have some fantastic stuff I can feel another purchase coming on.
In honour of the "Flames of Desire" check this out! You'll need to go into the Media section, my fave is the one of the hot tub. Mmmmmmmmmmmmmm!

Chocoholics Ahoy!
I want chocolate. And lots of it.
It helps me do my best thinking and knitting and movie watching. I bought Spiderman 2 today in the Video Ezy sale, they'd marked him down in price again.
I'm very excited, the only thing I like better than (or maybe equal to) Matt Hardy would have to be a superhero. My fave superhero is tied between Wolverine and Hellboy at the moment.
I do like bad boys - especially if they're going to bring me chocolate.
I did do some work on the Alien's third face yesterday. Hopefully I'll get a little more done while watching Spiderman tonight.
On the Dulaan front, our SNB group has accumulated a scarf, hat and two pairs of mittens. I do believe there is a second hat and pair of mittens in the making. We've done well, I'll have to get a picture of all our items together before we send it off.
I'm afraid that's it for today, hopefully the Alien will have a third face next time I write my blog post.

I intended to do some more work on the two-faced Alien last night while I gawped at Matt Hardy. Did I mention it's been quite some time since I've seen Matt Hardy?
I did far too much gawping and absolutley no knitting, however I got my tape measure out and thought about making Matt a sweater.
Six pictures down here should be about the right size, but I suspect my tv is not to scale.
I've found a fantastic new craft site I have fallen madly in love with and once again uttered the words if only I could crochet. RoxyCraft.com - where they have a crochet pattern for a flying pig.
While talking about sites the button formation continues, Amanda may have the answer I need.

Speaking of Matt Hardy, there's new meat on the market! It's still kinda unofficial official at this point, but Matt Hardy may be a free man. Referring to him as if he's a walking side of beef may be slightly cruel since he probably has a brain and feelings - but the Bad Ass Knitter Shoes don't care. They think he could be Rocky Horror to our Frank-N-Furter.
The BAK Shoes and I are hoping he's coming on the WWE Austrlian tour. Because the Shoes and I will be able to offer him a shoulder to cry on in this hour ofour his need.
Enough about me (yes, and about the Shoes. See I mentioned you, now be quiet or I'll put you back in the Closet.) I really should be getting back to knitting as that two faced Alien needs to become a three faced Alien.

Then some.
My sister and fellow knitter has purchased some Opal yarn, I am mega jealous. How long before I buy some?
Now we have to figure out a pattern for her to make socks. Any suggestions?
On the Dulaan front, Yarn Harlot has updated her blog and included a pattern for a hat she is doing for it. Very cool, I may have to copy it down or better yet print it off.
Sharon has struck again, this time with a recipe for Violet Crumble Ice Cream Bars.
The Alien dosen't have a third face, yet. I'm going to work on it some more tonight and I hope to have a third face complete and a fourth at least started by the time I get to my SNB meet-up on Tuesday.
Inspired by Amanda, I am trying to work out a button for my blog so people can steal it. Something that's appropiate for a Knitter from the Darkside.
That's it for today, I have to get back to the Alien. I am planning on some pro wrestling tonight - out come the DVD's again. Matt Hardy's been gone too long! Fingers crossed he's on the tour that comes to Australia.

The Alien Has Two Faces.
Yes the Alien Illusion Scarf is now two faces complete with just four faces to go. I'm out of the wilderness and back on to my knitting. It's a wonderful feeling.
I was so busy having my mini Cher concert last night I missed the first episode in the new series The Medium.

If only.
I am very green with envy as some aquaintances of mine are off to the Cher concert in Melbourne tonight.
So to make up for it, I have bought Cher: The Farewell Tour on DVD, I'll have to have my own little miny concert in my living room tonight.
I apart form the Caterpillar I haven't got any other knitting done, hmm, I may have to work on something else tonight. Like something for Dulaan. I should really finish that second mitten.
I know there still short, I promise as soon as I get back to my knitting there will be more to tell you about. However having said that I have found yet another Illusion Scarf I want to knit, this one has snowflakes.

Speaking of good, thanks to Mossy Cottage Knits I've had the chance to read Couisin Tom's blog .
And bad, one of my fave haunts - a message board which shall remain nameless has turned into a seething pot of something, something not good. So I think I will stay right away from that for some time.
I hold no responsibility for it, because for once in my life during a time of uproar I kept my mouth shut and said nothing. I don't know what's happened to me, but I hope it dosen't last long. This not saying anything is going to kill me. I must be getting old.

What's A Girl To Do?
Yet another sleepless night, I'm hoping that after three of them I will be so tired I'll sleep more peacefully than the dead tonight. Wish me luck.
I failed to get anything knit, and I really don't care. I'm too cranky/tired/not enough chocolate to even look at my knitting - yes, it's that time again. I hate everything! Look for a new project to be started real soon.....
So to suit my mood I have sourced another excellent DIY site I will share wiith you all now. Morbid Outlook suits me to the T. Speaking of tea I wouldn't mind trying the Voodoo Tea.
I'm afraid that's as enlightened as it's going to get.

The Knitter Strikes Back!
Project Seven is done! I finished knitting the purple/grey scarf last night and sewed the ends away. If I can keep the momentum going there will hopefully be an eighth very soon.
Do you know what I discovered today? A knitted bikini with matching sarong! Knit bikini's are hard to come across most of them seem to be crocheted. It's at this very cool site and some of the other knit projects worth a look include the Moniter and Mouse Cosy's. And my personal fave the "Knitster" Illusion Scarf! How cool?

I bought a new pair of 4.5mm today so I can get back to knitting the Angora Supreme. I don't think I'll get anything knit done tonight.
I haven't been sleeping well these last two nights and I am going to lay blame on that tv program about Jon Benet, since it really creeped me out at the time. There are some really strange people out there and I say that as one of the more normal ones.
Cruising through my local Spotlight today I have to say I was impressed the 50% off table looked as though not only had it been tidyed but actually organised. It's a pity we still can't say the same about the rest of the yarn section.
I think that's it for today I'm gonna call it quits, put my feet up, be immediatly sat upon by cats and watch Scooby Doo. Ultimate feel good pick-me up.

Knit Knit Knit
I've been working on the Alien for the last couple of days or not at all as the case was Monday when the pattern vanished without a trace. But it has sinced turned up.
I started this morning a Go-Go Garter Scarf from Stitch N' Bitch by Debbie Stoller out of some op shop wool. It's a purple with some grey and is knitting up really well I can't wait for it to be finished which won't be far since it's about 3/4 of the way through yet.
I had my CSI fix last night, I am highly thrilled I get it twice a week now. CSI: Miami I'm not sure I like as much and this New York well I've only seen one episode so far so we'll reserve judgement on that one.
I'm afraid that's about it for the time being I hope to have something a little more exciting for you soon!

I knit therefore I am a knitter.
I worked on the Alien Illusion Scarf last night until I forced myself to put it down and started work on the caterpillar. I was hoping to actually do some more work on the hooded scarf in taupe but some how the caterpillar got started.
I know Amanda called her caterpillar Lola, I'm debating what I will call mine. I briefly considered naming in honour of THE Matt Hardy. But then I debated if TMH would want homage paid to him in the form of a fluffy blue knitted caterpillar.
Also thanks to Amanda, I have discovered new blogs to read! The uKnitted Nations blog ring, I had a read of all the blogs on it, a few I had been to before but the rest we're new to me. I need more time just to read other people's blogs!
Today was domestic day, I vaced my house and am impressed how much cleaner the place instantly looks. Note to self: vac more often.
I also made up a huge pot of soup and I mean huge - just over 4 kilos worth of pumpkin went in. And it is absolutely delicious if I do say so myself.
Speaking of delicious, reading Sharon's blog today and she had a recipe for Self-Saucing Choc Pudding. That is one of my fave desserts of all time!
While we're talking recipes if you haven't already checked out Amanda's blog, do it now! Her husbands coffee drink sounds really yummy, now if only I had choc syrup in my house.......

New Project Alert!
The drudgery is over! At least temporarily.
I have the priveledge of acquiring another knitter's cast off UFO and it's a good one to boot!
My sister and fellow knittier was about to frog her started Alien Illusion scarf because she decided she hated it. After lots of wailing I am now ht eproud owner of a just started Alien scarf. I am thrilled to bits! I can't wait to get going on it.
This is so excellent, I get another project to finsih and my fellow knitter has one less UFO (very appropiate) languishing in the depths (granted shallow) stash.
I am running away to gloat over the scarf so I will leave the trained monkey to sign off today, he is the brains of the outfit anyway.

Ah, it never ends, everytime I think of starting a new project - something that will be quicker and or more interesting I just seem to end up back at square one.
I need to finish the second mitten from the second pair and start the second gauntlet to be able to finish it. Which would bring me in total to 7 complete projects. Finishing is the hard part, because now they are all rather boring. Although once I cast on for the gauntlet I should be right all those yarn overs will keep me thinking.
Amidst all this I want to try and keep working on the hooded scarves to send to Mongolia, I don't won't to find myself at the last minute trying to madly finish two scarves. All the stocking stitch makes them rather tiresome however. Back to square one I go.
I think provided I can find a spare set of 4mm I will start the Caterpillar. To hell with everything else! No doubt I will soon follow. And be back at square one.
I've started fantasy yarn shopping. I got my Bendigo shade card out and started picking out colours for my Skull Illusion scarf. The original one was made for a scarf swap in pink but I have seen two others, (both made for knitter's male partners) one was black and grey and the other was balck and white.
Personally I really liked the black and grey colourway as it looked very effective and dark. Unfortunatly I can't get a black and grey in the same yarn type, I might have to get two different kinds. Hmmmm, plenty of time to decide I suppose and I can always see what other yarn companys have to offer me.

All Things Knit and Then Some.
Ladies and Gentlemen! Boys and Girls! And Cobweb Covered Skeletons of All Stages of Decomposition! I have for you today an exciting array of wonders knit and otherwise so step right up and be amazed!
Or at least moderately amazed.
First off I would like to direct you to Get Crafty a very wonderful site I have been to before, very early on when it was first started. But I would like to thank Amanda, because otherwise I wouldn't have been back today to look at it. It's very exciting site with a lot of very cool content.
Secondly I would like to show you all my new knit screen saver - thanks to Lion Brand. I have the Urban Chic one but they do have other designs and you will find them in the Goodies section.
Next up I did say I was going to talk about today things I wanted to make once the yarn "diet" is over. Well I would like to tackle the great art of Illusion and this will be the project at the top of the list.
A Skull Illusion Scarf which can be found at Crafster another excellent crafting site, this is the place if your looking for that hard to find pattern or very cool new pattern idea.
There is also the Alien Illusion Scarf as featured in the first Stitch N' Bitch book that I have always wanted to make as well.
There is of course the much talked about Caterpillar! I have mentioned in the past Nundle's Pagan Jumper, also the Cobweb Shawl and Sheer Poncho from Magknits.
Then there is the Sari Silk projects I'd like to make Unbiased from Knitty, the Japanese Lantern Scarf from the Sari Along and the Poncho in the latest issue of Creative Knitting which turns out to be crocheted. Maybe this will be the final push to learn!
Also from Knitty are the Voodoo Wrist Warmers which I love and can't wait to make a pair for myself and perhaps for Mongolia?
Speaking of Mongolia, this is some thing I really want to get behind and support because it is such a worthy cause. The mittens I was making up (one pair complete and the second pair is a mitten away from being complete) for my two young cousins will now find there way into the parcel also I have started a hooded scarf and hope to get a second done before the parcel goes. Those projects are musts, anything else I get done will be an added extra.
My sister is planning on two pairs of mittens, a scarf and also a hat. So far she's almost done a pair of mittens and they are very cute! My mother is attempting a scarf out of some very nice purple wool I will shamelessly claim should her project fall by the wayside.
Between the three of us I'm hoping we'll have the makings of a decent parcel to send off.
I've brandished flyers and told my fellow knitters about the project and I know of at least one other member (you can find her blog here) of my SNB who expressed some interest in participating and one of my other fellow knitters I know has agreed to make something I believe it was socks she was last contemplating.
While on my yarn "diet" I have chosen as my charity of choice for the first two months MSF or Doctors Without Borders. Prior to Yarn Harlot and her Knitters Without Borders challenge and her MSF mittens, I knew of this group but not a lot about them. But since then I have been made aware of the fantastic work these people do in some let's face it less than fantastic places. I have decided for the remainder of my yarn "diet" they'll continue to be my charity of choice and I discovered when reading the Australian site to find details to give donations that rather than mail a money order every month I might take up as a "Field Partner" where you donate every month through direct debit. I think this will continue on after the "diet" is over and for the remainder of the year at least.
My soul is very much like a cup of coffee - black and bitter. To make it marginally more tolerable a couple of sugars don't go astray. But the soul equivlent of sugar is some good deeds or some good deeds knitting in a Knitter from the Darkside's case. And to help me in this monumental task Fate found me this very helpful site Craftivism.
On a final note, anybody who wishes to get on their soap box and tell me how to run my yarn diet can take there box and leave. As far as I'm concerned (since it is my diet) as the bought/given yarn isn't adding any weight to my stash I'm happy and so I'm sure will be the Mongolians on receipt of the knitted items.

Next up I did say I was going to talk about today things I wanted to make once the yarn "diet" is over. Well I would like to tackle the great art of Illusion and this will be the project at the top of the list.
A Skull Illusion Scarf which can be found at Crafster another excellent crafting site, this is the place if your looking for that hard to find pattern or very cool new pattern idea.
There is also the Alien Illusion Scarf as featured in the first Stitch N' Bitch book that I have always wanted to make as well.
There is of course the much talked about Caterpillar! I have mentioned in the past Nundle's Pagan Jumper, also the Cobweb Shawl and Sheer Poncho from Magknits.
Then there is the Sari Silk projects I'd like to make Unbiased from Knitty, the Japanese Lantern Scarf from the Sari Along and the Poncho in the latest issue of Creative Knitting which turns out to be crocheted. Maybe this will be the final push to learn!
Also from Knitty are the Voodoo Wrist Warmers which I love and can't wait to make a pair for myself and perhaps for Mongolia?
Speaking of Mongolia, this is some thing I really want to get behind and support because it is such a worthy cause. The mittens I was making up (one pair complete and the second pair is a mitten away from being complete) for my two young cousins will now find there way into the parcel also I have started a hooded scarf and hope to get a second done before the parcel goes. Those projects are musts, anything else I get done will be an added extra.
My sister is planning on two pairs of mittens, a scarf and also a hat. So far she's almost done a pair of mittens and they are very cute! My mother is attempting a scarf out of some very nice purple wool I will shamelessly claim should her project fall by the wayside.
Between the three of us I'm hoping we'll have the makings of a decent parcel to send off.
I've brandished flyers and told my fellow knitters about the project and I know of at least one other member (you can find her blog here) of my SNB who expressed some interest in participating and one of my other fellow knitters I know has agreed to make something I believe it was socks she was last contemplating.
While on my yarn "diet" I have chosen as my charity of choice for the first two months MSF or Doctors Without Borders. Prior to Yarn Harlot and her Knitters Without Borders challenge and her MSF mittens, I knew of this group but not a lot about them. But since then I have been made aware of the fantastic work these people do in some let's face it less than fantastic places. I have decided for the remainder of my yarn "diet" they'll continue to be my charity of choice and I discovered when reading the Australian site to find details to give donations that rather than mail a money order every month I might take up as a "Field Partner" where you donate every month through direct debit. I think this will continue on after the "diet" is over and for the remainder of the year at least.
My soul is very much like a cup of coffee - black and bitter. To make it marginally more tolerable a couple of sugars don't go astray. But the soul equivlent of sugar is some good deeds or some good deeds knitting in a Knitter from the Darkside's case. And to help me in this monumental task Fate found me this very helpful site Craftivism.
On a final note, anybody who wishes to get on their soap box and tell me how to run my yarn diet can take there box and leave. As far as I'm concerned (since it is my diet) as the bought/given yarn isn't adding any weight to my stash I'm happy and so I'm sure will be the Mongolians on receipt of the knitted items.

The Good, The Bad and the Ugly.
I attempted to start a hooded scarf to send away to Mongolia last night as I watched The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, I say attempted because my efforts were hampered by a naughty black and white cat. Who seems to have come out of middle age and who has assessed my lap as the best vantage point to attack my yarn, knitting or the most popular of all - my needles.
The scarf I started last night was out of the "taupe" Angora Supreme and I hope without hindrance to get it knitted up quickly. All the sooner to start the pretty blue one.
The new Jo Sharp magazine I bought yesterday featured a pattern for a pair of socks knitted on straight needles. I've decided to give it a bash and figure the resulting samples can be sent off to Mongolia if they fail to suit anybody here.
And to all the nay sayers, Doubting Thomas and other people who shouldn't be flinging stones. My yarn diet is working perfectly well, and besides it would be rude not to accept yarn that has been gifted to you, not to mention refusal may offend and you may not be gifted with yarn again, ever.
And let the record show I had completed five projects before purchasing the Angora Supreme at 50% off to make the long awaited Hooded Scarf with Pockets from Funky Knitting for myself which is being knitted up straight away. Let it also show that while I was given yarn I wasn't buying yarn to give back in return - although I have been informed buying it for other people dosen't count.
If that's the case I think I should be buying the Mongolians some more yarn while Spotlight has 50% off, I might have to see if I can get myself some Totem cheap....
I'm afraid that's all I have time for today, tommorrow I hope to compile my fantasy list or what I will make after my diet is over. There won't be pictures but I'll try to include links for as much as possible.

Another day, another dollar.
I went grocery shopping today, I know it's that time again already. And what goodies did I discover today apart from re-discovering the Oreo Peanut Butter and Chocolate Cream Cookies I found Coles had The Extraordinary League of Gentlemen Two Disc Edition for $15.00. I've been waiting for this day to come, but it's always the one disc edition that's on sale everywhere.
Tonight is all mapped out for me, after dinner I shall put on my new ugg boots which kept my feet and legs lovely and warm (especially the foot the cat slept on) last night and watch the Extraordinary Gentlemen and Lady as I work on somethng for the Mongolians. I went back to Spotlight today and my mother and sister bought some Angora Supreme. My mother has made off with hers and squirrled it away somewhere. My sister, well technically the yarn was for me to knit for the Mongolians but she had to pay for it because I was kinda destitute this morning. Kindness repayed for me buying her needles last week.
My sister hopes I won't knit it all up to send away to Mongolia, she thinks I need to knit myself something with it aswell. Well I might just yet, I got four balls of the blue and four balls of a "taupe" or for people like me a very pale brown colour. So I hope to knit up two girl's size hooded scarves.
Then there was three balls of a dark grey colour, a ball each of pale purple and pale pink. There was more purple including the purple I originally bought for my scarf but my mother made off with all the purple. Mind you this was after I had ransacked the 50% off section to find enough of each colour to do something with.
"Oh that's nice I'll have that". Yes it was good of me to find it. No sock yarn left unfortunatly. What a shame.
My sister also puchased for herself some of the Cleckheaton Tapestry wool to attempt some socks with. The colour's called Crabapple and it's very nice, if it had been on the 50% table I might have given into temptation and bought some too
Knitty's new surprise patterns are up, nothing that really tempted me though. I was tempted and succombed and bought the new issue of Jo Sharp's Contempary Knitting. I can see a few things there I'd like to make some of the cabled stuff has me wondering. Wondering if I like it or not.
Well, I think that's about as exciting as my day has been, it's time for heros and knitting in warm boots.

Fortune Smiles on the Brave
I don't know what's going on but at the moment everything seems to be going well. I purchased a pair of ugg boots this morning in Target.
I stopped to look at the shelves and they had ugg boots in blue and pink, I was looking at a blue pair after I finally located a pair of Nines. Blue as much as I love it, wouldn't have been my first choice for a boot, so after contemplating this and the price I thought I'd think it over. I put the boots back on the shelf and stepped back to turn and what did I see sitting on the very bottom shelf next to a few more pairs of pink boots? A single solitary pair of brown boots, on closer inspection these lone brown boots turned out to be none other than a size 9!!!
I couldn't believe it, there's no thinking about this I grabbed them and fled for the nearest checkout which as I approached appeared to have a never ending line.
As I came towards the line I happened to glance over at the ends of the checkouts some times they have some good bargains just there and what did I see? Just before the checkout with the neverending line there was another checkout open and a salesgirl just standing there, not a customer in sight. I can't believe my luck.
I think the Gods of Fabulous Boots have looked down and gone we know she's inflicting her knitting on unsuspecting Mongolians but she means well, so in return we'll allow her to have nice warm feet this winter.
I hope to furthur acheive this by making some of the Toe Socks featured in the latest Creative Knitting magazine and I know Sharon is also planning to make some, well perhaps beyond planning she's even been and bought wool to make them with. Now that's organised.

Fate Strikes Again!
On Friday I heard through the grapevine that the new issue of Creative Knitting was out and I hadn't been able to go in search of it till this morning.
It's been a long time coming so I was interested to see what they had come up with. Not bad at all, some of the stuff was really nice some of it I think depended on your colour/yarn choice and others (though not many) were OMG! what we're they thinking?
However there was one pattern that stood out over the rest - a poncho made from recycled sari silk yarn. It probably wouldn't have meant as much if I haven't been hankering after a hank or two of this lovely looking stuff to begin with. It all started thanks to Lynne at Yarnivorous.
Lynne was knitting the Japanese Lantern Scarf as part of the Sari-A-Long (which has many examples of why this scarf is a must do project). Upon doing some research into the sari silk the very helpful knitters over at SNB Melbourne Yahoo Group offered up some very wonderful advice (in Norbu's/list mum's case even a sample to feel) and their experiences of this yarn. Somebody also mentioned the pattern at Knitty for Unbiased (a very cool bag) and I was also able to locate a pattern for a flower (The Wool Peddler - you'll need to go into their yarn section and select recycled silk to find the link) knitted up out of it. The Wool Peddler also offers up some very invaluable advice on working with this type of yarn well worth the read if anybody else is inspired to make anything with it.
I have decided since fate is throwing this virtually my way, it'd be nice if it'd throw the yarn as well but you can't have everything, that when I reach project 10 I am going to buy enough (preferably in the same colour way) to make the bag and scarf so as to have wonderful coordinating accessories. You'll never last on your diet if you don't have treats occasionally, and if I'm having a treat it's going to be a good one like Angora Supreme or sari silk yarn.
I'm afraid that's all I have time for today although I can think of another umpteen dozen things I would have liked to tell you about.

Well, I wouldn't have said today started off in fine form. Mainly because I spilt my morning coffee all down the front of myself on the way to my CWA (Country Women's Association) branch flower show.
Everything went well, we we're a bit apprehensive, as this was our first time organising it. I kept changing between two hats - that of tea lady and that of branch President. In the end the tea lady made the executive decisions.
When your trying to solve a tea crisis and have people asking you for permission to draw the Lucky Door Prize there's no time to change hats especially if in the middle of all this some man's agitating for a cup of coffee.
We were a couple of members down, but we managed to make a success of it. But despite that I'm not sure if I'm looking forward to next year.
On the knitting front the Angora Supreme scarf is still under way and knitting up beautifully! I do love the stuff, I'm thinking about purchasing some more and doing the smaller version for Mongolia. If I miss this year's deadline I will still have time for next year's.
I am very excited because of what today is. It is the release of the first issue of the online magazine Spun. It's more than just knitting patterns and has proven to be an interesting read I hope they keep up the standard. But having said that I have to admit I loved the patterns and that was the reason I've been waiting in anticipation for this day.
Here we have my top three picks:
1) Stash Buster - Caterpillar
2) Restraints
3) Studded Wrist Bands
I can't wiat to knit a caterpillar! Of course I have to make one for myself first, just to make sure it works out right you understand.
I've come up with a plan, I have some odd balls of faux fur and one of ostrich knocking about my stash. Partially used balls so there's not a full ball left but I have decided when I knit some more of the hooded jackets since the cuffs on the sleeves fold back onto the sleeves I thought I would make them out of fluffy stuff. Use up the fluffy stuff and make the jackets a bit more pretty. I know pretty is not really the point but it'll make the project more exciting for me as I have to knit it.
Final note for the day is the fact that I have just discovered myself listed in the Dulaan Brigade. How cool! I'm not merely a solo mad knitter trying to make the world better one stitch at a time, I'm part of a very cool Brigade!

New post x2
Okay my first post I was in the *middle* of writing got eaten and is no more. And now I'm in a crank because it's eaten.
So quick update, I am still working on the Angora Supreme Scarf and I suspect everyhting and I mean everything else eating, sleeping, working (like I'm gonna miss that).
Oh well, times up so that'll have to be it. I will attempt to do a re-write tomorrow and hope it dosen't get eaten. Grr Arrghhh!!!

The Next Big Thing?
According to the Lion Brand Newsletter that's just arrived in my Inbox it's Ponchettes and Capelets.
"These trendy little toppers are being seen everywhere from fashion magazines and catalogs to high-end boutiques and mainstream retailers."
Hmmm, I can't say I'm a fan of a short poncho, I love the longer versions. But as for capes this one has taken my fancy.
Cape May in the current issue of Knitty. This is made out of Rowan Biggy Print which I have used to make a hat and scarf, I had Giddy - I call it lolly colours pink, purple and green. But I love the the colour this is made up in Dull. After my yarn diet at the rate I'm knitting I should be able to put away enough to buy the quantity needed.
It'll be interesting to see how many more of my fellow knitters are going to be knitting up this latest trend.

Knit, Knit, Knit, Knit some more.
I've been a little remiss with my blogging, and also lacking any indepth thoughts.
Tuesday was SNB, I was so looking forward to that. A good knit session is what I have been missing lately. I got the first mitten from the second pair done.
After much debate, starting and unstarting Tuesday night I started a scarf in 4ply for a 0 - 12 month child. I worked on it Tuesday night, did some more on Wednesday. Then Thursday came.
Thursday I went to Spotlight to purchase some double points for my sister/fellow knitter and got lured by bargains. I picked up one of the Knitting with Fabric Kits I've been looking for ever since I first saw them some time early in October.
I originally saw them on the counter at Spotlight they had two of the 7 designs. And the Southwest Hobo Bag took my particular fancy. That's all it took at the time because it was $42.00. Then after I went back and on every other trip back no sign of them anywhere. I found one when I was in on Thursday, last one in the box reduced to $5.00 was a Southwest Hobo Bag. It has to have been fate!
Fabric is not yarn technically. Unfortunatly I now need to buy needles, 10mm circulars and 10mm double points. I wonder if I can do it all on circs? I don't begrudge buying them, I want then for at least another two future projects.
However having said that I was lured off the wagon when it stopped at the lights and bought yarn. Not just any yarn, Angora Supreme at 50% off! There was only two balls of the really nice blue left, so I though I might get pale purple which I have admired in the past. Only 4 balls of that. So I got 6 balls of a really nice dark purple kind of a fuschia really, to make my hooded scarf with pockets.
Thursday night I started the scarf. If you haven't knitted with Angora Supreme (30% Angora(rabbit fur)/70% lambswool) already - do so!
I'm glad I bough the Angora Supreme, it has given me the lift I needed. And I think it is permisable because I bought it with an exact project in mind and it will get knitted up quickly rather than languish as a one day I'll use it.
Last night, I put the Angora scarf aside and instead knitted up a beanie in my Rowan Biggy Print. It's done and all sewn up, so there is PROJECT 6 DONE!!!!!!
I am very pleased, I will have to start posting pics of all that's done and in progress.
That's it for today. Tomorrow I hope to reflect on what I have learnt on my diet so far. Six projects that's almost half way!

Another 2 down!
Last night I restarted yet again my mobile phone cosy and finished it, it is complete. Sewn up and button attached. I am absolutley thrilled given the number of trys it took to get it right.
I also finished the beanie last night, it's sewn up just waiting to be given SSSHHHH don't tell, to my mother tomorrow along with the mittens I made out of the same wool for her Birthday present. I discovered a pack of blue slightly fluffy but nice and soft yarn I'm thinking of making her a Xmas present out of it.
So far today I have worked on the faux fur scarf which dosen't seem to be getting any longer. I hate it.
I can see some form of stash management coming up, I also have an urge to move my furniture around and give my cupboards a throughly good clean out. All of this leaves my house upside and sideways for a at least a week until I shove everything back under the carpet.
One day I'll get there and I'll hate it and the whole process will begin again. It's a vicious circle.

Another Quickie!
These have not been very long I know. Not that there is much to report on the knitting front, I did more work on the Girl's Mohair Scarf last night while watching Cher. I always find Cher is excellent to knit to.
I hope to get more work done on the beanie tonight so I can have it ready to sew up tomorrow night at the latest.
Off the knitting front I have just finished re-reading Soul Music by Terry Pratchett. Terry Pratchett is one of my fave authors of all time and I think Soul Music would have to be one of my favourite's from the Discworld series I'm not sure the absolute fave, there are so many good ones it's hard to choose.
That's it for today dear readers so I will leave you with this thought - how DO you forget?

I found this at Amanda's blog, and I feel the need to point out that poor Amanda has been snowed in and forced to clear snow to get to her satellite dish so she can get the internet. I don't envy her one bit.

More unsuspecting targets for my knitting!
Well boys and girls it has been a long day today.
Onto today's topic I discovered this at Karen's blog The Spinning Goth who in turn discovered it at Emma's blog Emma & Co.
The Dulaan (doo-lahn′) Project can be found at Mossy Cottage Knits. I am thinking about giving it a go because I figure I can do beanies for little people who probably won't mind that they are very stripey due to the use of odd balls from within my stash and will probably be more exciting than squares which was the original plan for the odd balls. Once I get something made (if might be more appropriate) I can send it away to the US and feel a smidge more rightous.
Hence the button which will soon be gracing my blog.
I failed to get anything knitted last night so to keep on track with this hat, I want to have it finished by the weekend because then it will be over and done with. I hate this hat, once it's done I'm another project closer to the end and I can buy some really nice yarn. I have my eye on some sari silk I really wantt to knit something out of it even if it's only a flower.
That's it for today, I'm afraid I don't have any photos to share of any more of my FO's or works in progress just yet but I'm hoping by the time I do there will be more FO's.

Another row, another day.
This was the scarf I spent all afternoon and the better part of the evening working on the day before I took on the yarn diet.
I did some more work on the beanie last night I hope to get some more work done on it tonight. I have a maintinence inspection tomorrow - oh what joy! So before I knit I must have a final swoop through the house and make sure it's not too untidy ie no dirty knickers waiting to pounce on the real estate agent when they come tomorrow.
Very short one today I'm sorry guys!

Another day, another row.
These are the mittens made from the Bendigo wool in the colour Columbine.
These mittens are the first finished out of my 20 projects on the diet, and next to them you can see the start of the first mitten for the second pair. I really must get back to it but it's been put aside as I finished the first gauntlet and then recommenced work on this beanie that's been waiting to have it's ribbing finished so I can commence work on the main part.
I hate ribbing. My sister/fellow knitter remarked to me the other day while working on a beanie how much she hated ribbing. I know of at least one knitter out there who's fortunate enough to have a husband who knits and does all her ribbing for her because she hates it. Lucky woman!
Today is a good day, it was also grocery day. And somehow I came home with Gloria Jean's Chocolate Fudge coffee and a box of Baci's. I can not get eonough of Baci's! Back to the good day, I got to pick up my new dvd I had on order at my local Virgin store. WWE Divas South of the Border with the lovely Lita on it! Unfortunatly the lovely Lita is now out on a knee injury and will be gone awhile. Sob sob sob!
Ah well I'll have to survive, after all there are so many shoes to be worn and not enough time! There's also a lot of projects to be done.....
I have decided since I failed Yarn Harlot's Knitters Without Borders challange, that I'll increase my donation to MSF and give a bit extra. MSF (Doctors Without Borders) we're last months charity of choice for my $10, but I think given the Bad Ass Knitter shoes were bought last month while attempting the challenge it'd be better if I gave a little more.
I think that's all for today boys and girls I better get back to knitting and a Chocolate Fudge or two.

I have finished something.......
The Underworld/Buffy/Vampire/soon to be Undead project - the Picot Edge Gauntlet from Vogue's Knit 1 first issue.
Okay so it's perhaps not showing the (my) Gauntlet to the best, you can't clearly see my picot edge or lacey pattern on the lower half but you get some idea from the magazine photo and yes mine did come out resembling it so I am thrilled. Now all I have to do is start the second one. I finished this first one while watching Pirates of teh Caribbean so I think in all fairness it will have to become the Undead project.
I think this brings me to 2 and 1/2 projects finsihed now. Only 17 and a 1/2 to go. Not bad, not bad. I have decided totreat myself after this diet is over I am going to foray onto the much wondered (by me anyway) about the world of Sari Silk. But there will be plenty of time to decide imbetween now and when I finish.
Only another short one today I'm afraid.

I don't believe it!
I've been working on the phone cosy this afternoon after starting it for the third time and it was coming on really well, almost too well. I know it's only a narrow rectangle in stocking stitch but I was virtually at the end of the main part and coming into what would become the flap and what happens?
It appears narrower......I count stitches and I have lost one. And I can see where it is and I don't have too far to take it back and fix. Unlike poor Stephanie who writes Yarn Harlot and her diaster with the MSF Mittens. I really do feel for her (and inspired by her snow house), so far I have had no monumental stuff-ups with what I have made. This isn't hard given 90% of what I've made has been scarves.
**Note: While I mention scarves, the Scarf Issue of Creative Knitting has still not reappeared and I suspect that is the issue with the Girl's Mohair Scarf I uncovered which is half way to completion. Grrr Arrghhh!!
Back to the topic at hand, my missing stitch looking back at where it is I know when I must have done it. And Matt Hardy is entirely to blame. I adore Matt Hardy and he features in many of my knitting fantasys (knitting needles are very similar to stakes both being sharp pointy sticks and all, if I'm going to be anyone else it may as well be Buffy), but I fear a parting of ways may be coming soon. Reading this caused me to be momentarily (alright if I'm honest more like hourly) confused because of the big words at which point I must have lost the stitch while I was debating if Matt hardy was worth the price of a dictionary.
Some place else new I visited today was Dogs Steal Yarn. I have seen it listed as a fave read on a number of blogs but have never got around to reading it. The list of blogs I will read one day is almost as long as the list of blogs I do read now.
Another place I went and am loving is Yarn-A-Go-Go, I am particular keen on her KniTattoo page. Some very cool artwork there. I really like Liz, Tess, Lori and Stephanie's.
I'd like some of my own, but given how easily bored with things I become and how often I want change I don't think permanent ink is really for me. Maybe when I'm older and less fickle, I suppose it could happen.
That's it for today, I suppose I'd better unpick this knitting now or it'll languish in a corner somewhere.

Rip it! Rip it good!
I have started twice now to knit a cosy for my mobile phone, and I'm about to undo it for the second time. The pattern called for 16 stitches which would have been big enough for two phones. I undid it, recast on with 10 stiches and it is becoming very clear 10 is not going to be wide enough. The phone will just fit but there will be no room for sewing up.
The pattern I am using is an adaptaion of Cricket's Technicolour Techno-Cosies from Stitch n' Bitch by Debbie Stoller, I am still seeking her second book Stitch n' Bitch Nation. I would have expected it to be here by now. This is the first attempt to knit up the nylon lurex knitting yarn as it's called.
I failed to get the second half of the first mitten done. Dr Who is finally officially finished, yes I know I said I had finished knittng him but today I finally remembered the crochet hook and my sister (the long overdue receipent of the scarf) put the tassels on along the ends and it looks really good. I hope to get some pictures really soon, also of the first two projects from the 20. The first pair of mittens and the quick knit feathers scarf.
If only I could get more finished. There's some I-Cord standing between me and finishng my bag and also a button. But that should be easy to find. That wretched I-Cord however......
On the domestic front, I am pleased to announce after all this time waiting I finally have had my hot water cylinder fixed or more to the point replaced. Not that I've waited long for that.
It's still hot, but not as hot as it was thankfully. I am having to o knit some for lack of better excuse..

Teething Troubles
I got absolutley no knitting done today. However I have been putting a lot of thought into my local SNB group.
One of the other members has suggested organising a yarn swap, this has me worried. Mostly because I'm unclear as to how this is all going to work - every time we talk about it another question seems to be raised. I can't wait for the next meeting to get together with the others and see what they all think
As well as the yarn swap there is also the starting time, I think for most people the earlier start would suit them better but this is by no means set in concrete. This one I think can be easily resolved.
Thankfully it wasn't as hot today, but I still failed to knit anything I know. I'm exorcising my right as a Bad Ass Knitter to not knit if I so choose. Also I'm kind of having yarn cravings, I won't new yarns and new projects. I want different to what I already have. Unfortunatly all that is 18 projects away....
Only another short one, it's not only my knitting I'm getting lax with. But I'm afraid nothing much else has happened to warrant being blogged about recently. I either need a new hobby or to get out more or both.

My Australia Day.
It's been a warm one, and I always have thought of myself as a fearless knitter. But the weather at the moment is making me think twice about picking up the needles and working on anything.
The Morally Bankrupt shoes are here, yes these are the Bad Ass Knitter/Underworld-Buffy Project/now also Pirate Project shoes. They have interchangeable motifs - a bat, a cross and a skull & cross bones. So you can see they will also have to become my Pirates of the Caribbean knitting shoes.
The great skull knit in project what will it be? I discovered fellow Australian blogger and knitter Katie from Katie Knits has knitted the Mini-Skull Tote from Hello Yarn.Of course being nosey and interested in this project and as Katie is a fellow Australian I had to ask what yarn she had used for the project. I'm hoping she's found a suitable local substitute for the project.
After all that talk of knitting last night, I did none. However I have knitted half of the first mitten from the second pair made from Columbine today. Does that make sense?

That just pisses me off and as far as I'm concerned it's downright rude the equivelant of blog spam. I don't know if this is the correct term or if a term even exists, well if not it does now.

I feel I should write a post that says more than......
Fuzzle Wuzzle!
So far that's all that's popped into my brain as I sit here and think about what I should have planned to write about today. I blame the heat it's causing my brain to overheat and think Fuzzle Wuzzle!
But on to more serious matters like I've left my Vampire gauntlets at my mother's along with all the trappings and pattern for the mittens. I'll have to work on something else tonight.
This does not bode well, the odds are I will slip back into my bad habits and knit nothing at all. Maybe I'll finally get the second half of the ribbing done on that beanie. I hate ribbing, I really must finish it or udo it. Alright my mind is made, I'll attempt to finish a bit more of the ribbing tonight until I can get my Vamp gauntlets back.
It's official, I can not find my Creative Knitting Scarf Special anywhere and as you've probably guessed it has a pattern I won't to use in it. The Moody Blues Scarf which I started organising yarns for is on hold because I can not find the pattern. Granted it was designed with using up scraps from your stash but I really wanted another look at the picture to gauge how wide each of my stripes would be and how they put the shades together.
Off the knitting front, I am going to watch around CSI (I love CSI!) Pirates of the Caribbean. I absolutely adore Johnny Depp and have fancied the man ever since I saw him in 21 Jump Street. I know 21 Jump Street, I'm really showing my age. But Johnny Depp hasn't changed much since then. If I were a Vampire Slayer I'd probably be suspicious.
Back on to the knitting front the Pirates have given me an idea. They would be a fabulous movie to knit a skull and crossbones project to. I'm so excited! Maybe I should start a Pirates knit-along and find some fellow skull knitters to join me. This could be the start of something very beautiful, perhaps I should quit the yarn diet now. No, I will be strong - the Pirates aren't going anywhere any time soon.
I'm afraid that's it for today, I failed to get any knitting done last night so I have no real progress to report. However I hope to have better luck tomorrow for you - provided I survive I have decided to be brave and try a Maggi Snack Stop Rice - Chilli Con Carne flavour.
So far that's all that's popped into my brain as I sit here and think about what I should have planned to write about today. I blame the heat it's causing my brain to overheat and think Fuzzle Wuzzle!
But on to more serious matters like I've left my Vampire gauntlets at my mother's along with all the trappings and pattern for the mittens. I'll have to work on something else tonight.
This does not bode well, the odds are I will slip back into my bad habits and knit nothing at all. Maybe I'll finally get the second half of the ribbing done on that beanie. I hate ribbing, I really must finish it or udo it. Alright my mind is made, I'll attempt to finish a bit more of the ribbing tonight until I can get my Vamp gauntlets back.
It's official, I can not find my Creative Knitting Scarf Special anywhere and as you've probably guessed it has a pattern I won't to use in it. The Moody Blues Scarf which I started organising yarns for is on hold because I can not find the pattern. The Vampire is Growing!
I worked on the Vampire (formerly Underworld - Underworld/Buffy) gauntlet last night, rewatching the early episodes of Season Two of Buffy. I discovered after counting my stiitches I was a stitch short. I couldn't be bothered taking the row back by that time of night and making one and re-knitting the rest of the row. I am past the lacey section and onto knit up the hand and thumb section.
Hopefully the first half of Project 3 will soon be finished!
Apart from that, stuff has been very slow and very hot. I really don't like the heat it causes me to melt. I am so looking forward to winter, I can remember it wasn't all that long ago I couldn't wait for it to be summer. What was I thinking?
As you've probably noticed from the last couple of days posts there's y post and some weird junky tidbit. I love weird junky tidbits and I figure if nothing else it'll tell you something about me. I love weird junky tidbits amongest other things.
Anyway today's is about Buffy, surprise surprise. I'm afraid that's all for today I must go and put my yarn in the fridge.
