wouldn't that be the question of the day?? I don't like sustituting Anchorline, because it's self striping, but I have used Heirloom 8ply cotton and there is also a Clecheaton "Fizz" that works adequately. From what i can gather, Peaches and Cream is almost a 10ply though, and of course, there's nothing here with the range of colours! I did have a woman in Canada offer to ship it out to me, but it was going to work out VERY expensive. Maybe someone can look to importing it for Australia???
If I recall, Sugar and Cream is kind of thick. So any bulky cotton might do, I think. I've seen some Peruvian stuff that is pretty thick - I'll take a look when I go to the yarn store today.
