Shrugging off my problems

I need some advice, I want to knit up a cardigan for when the warmer weather gets here if at all or better yet a shrug (smaller thing to knit). All my jumpers are a tad warm to be a light cover up.

I'm going to poke through Ravelry, and look through my wrappy/shawly pattern books as I know they have shrugs as well in them. But anything anyone's knitted, not to complex, the quicker the better, and can recommend I am all ears (and eyes).

I have no cardigan ideas really as I shun cardigans, even today. Does this mean your scarf is almost finished???!!

Hi Darkside,

I made a shrug from Ravelry. The Elegant Shoulderette by Leef Bloonenstiel. I made it in cotton and it was on the heavy side but the color was just right so I couldn't resist. Another yarn should be just fine.

It's a double moss pattern stitch so knits up fairly fast. Knits up like a double rib really, just off set after every second row. Nothing complicated. There's a picture of it on my blog for June 6, 08. (If I knew HTML I'd set up a link.)

I hope you have a good time with what ever you choose.

Sincerely, Lady Euohpria
