The Cossack, the Snow Bunny and the Sprout.

New project alert! I picked up my Cleckheaton Show-Off today off lay-by at Spotlight (I do love their 20% off sales).

I'm planning to make a Snow Bunny Hat as seen in the book Funky Knitting by Happy House.

What is a Snow Bunny Hat you ask? Well, I'm glad you asked. It is a hat from the collective group of "Cossack" hats. Knit a rectangle, fold it in half and sew down the two sides and voila! You have a "Cossack" hat.

Looking for some more precise pattern or picture? I can also recommend the book Hip To Knit by Judith L. Swartz - the pattern "Fat Hats". Looking for one on a smaller scale? Try "Sprout" at Magknits, the sizes on this pattern are newborn to 8 y.o. and can be found here.

That's all I have time for today and I will leave you with the thought that I will be contemplating as I start my Snow Bunny Hat.
A knitted wedding dress?!?!?!?!
